Samuel Pieh Named Chief Operations Officer at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis

– October 14, 2016 – Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis is pleased to announce that Samuel Pieh , D.P.T., a certified physical therapist , has joined Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis as its new chief operations officer (COO). As the COO, Pieh will oversee all operations for the hospital.

“Samuel brings a unique skills set that will help us continue to improve our operational excellence and deliver the quality, personal care our physicians, patients and their families expect,” says Audrey Gregory, CEO for Saint Francis Healthcare. “He is a great addition to our leadership team at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis.”

Pieh most recently was the chief operations officer at Detroit Medical Center Huron Valley- Sinai Hospital, a Tenet facility in Commerce, Michigan. Prior to that, he was Director of Vascular Service Lines and Rehabilitation for Saint Francis Hospital –Bartlett.

Pieh is an accomplished health care leader with a vast amount of experience in both health care and business operations. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Memphis and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. In addition, he has a doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow with American College of Healthcare Executive (FACHE).
